Fight Leads to One Person Being Stabbed – 8/27/14

On Wednesday, August 27th at approximately 8:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the Riverfront Motel located at 5303 Route 130 for a stabbing. Upon arrival, police located the 20 year old, female victim who had a stab wound to the upper portion of her torso near her left shoulder. Investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred and ended with the suspect and victim returning to separate rooms at the motel. A short time later, the suspect returned to the victim’s door and confronted her again, ultimately assaulting her with what was described as a steak knife. The suspect, identified as Corinne A. Williams, 23 years old of Bordentown, fled the scene after the incident. The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for treatment. Officers continued the investigation and began looking for the suspect. Williams was located a few hours later by the Bordentown City Police and taken into custody for the incident at the motel and on several unrelated criminal warrants. Williams was charged with Aggravated Assault and a weapons charge for the incident at the motel. After processing, she was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000.00.
