Police Blotter – 10/31/14

On Sunday, October 26th at 12:02 a.m., police were detailed to East Main Street for a noise complaint.  While checking the area for juveniles, who reportedly were seen walking in the area in possession of alcohol, police found an unauthorized vehicle parked after hours in the Mansfield Township Community Park.  Upon locating the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as a 17 year-old Springfield Township resident, police requested his driving credentials, at which time an odor of burnt marijuana was detected emitting from the interior of the vehicle.  After obtaining consent to search the interior of the vehicle, police located a set of brass knuckles and a partially smoked marijuana cigarette.  The male juvenile was subsequently taken into custody and transported to headquarters for processing. The juvenile was later charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, and the township ordinance violation for violating park hours.

On Wednesday, October 29th at 10:01 a.m. police observed Woloszyn Wojciech, 32 years old of Kent Lakes, NY, using C.D.S. in the Sale Lot of the Manheim Auto Auction, located on Route 68. Upon being confronted by police, a second subject, Pawel Bromke, 41 years old of Brooklyn, NY, was identified as a trespasser on the property. Both men were taken into custody, cited for their respective offense and released pending court.

On Thursday, October 3oth at 10:33 p.m., police encountered William Dean, 55 of Bordentown, at the Imperial Motel on Route 206.  During the contact with Dean, it was determined he was wanted on a traffic warrant issued by the Medford Lakes Municipal Court. Dean was taken into custody and transported to headquarters for processing. Dean was able to post partial bail, at which time he was released from custody pending his court appearance.

On Friday, October 31st, at 1:38 p.m., police were dispatched to Manheim Auto Auction for a report of a subject that had climbed over an exterior fence in an attempt to access private property. Security informed police that the individual, who was later identified as Ronald F. Arana-Cordova, 26 years old of New Milford CT, was observed climbing the fence. Arana-Cordova was taken into custody and charged with trespassing. He was later released pending his court appearance.
