Police Blotter – 10/8/14

Police conducted an investigative motor vehicle stop on Sunday, September 14th at 9:50 a.m., after a random check indicated that the vehicle’s registration was expired.  Investigation on scene revealed that the driver, Geovanny Navarro, 19 years old of North Brunswick, was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and had three active warrants issued for his arrest. Navarro was then taken into custody and transported to headquarters for processing. Navarro was later released on motor vehicle summonses after posting bail.

On Wednesday, September 24th at 11:51 a.m., police were dispatched to Manheim Auto Auction for a report of two subjects that had climbed over an exterior fence in an attempt to access private property. Security informed police that the individuals, later identified as Kyle Jones, 20 of Decatur, GA, and Muhammed L. Toure, 20 of Lithonia, GA, were observed climbing the fence. Both subjects were taken into custody and charged with trespassing. Toure and Jones were later released pending court appearances.

Police conducted an investigative motor vehicle stop on Saturday, September 27th at 4:36 p.m., after a random check indicated that the registered owner was wanted on an outstanding warrant.  During the motor vehicle stop, a check returned that the driver, Aracelis Rodriguez, 26 years old of Burlington, was wanted on a traffic warrant and had a suspended driver’s license. Rodriguez was taken into custody for processing, issued a summons for driving while suspended, and later released pending a court appearance.

On Sunday, September 28th at 11:29 a.m., police observed Michael J. Kember, 55 of Trenton, operating a bicycle on Rt. 206.  The officer was familiar with Kember known to have outstanding warrants. A check with dispatch confirmed that Kember was wanted on a criminal warrant and he was taken into custody. Kember was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and later released pending a new court appearance.

On Wednesday, October 8th at 10:17 a.m., police were dispatched to Manheim Auto Auction at 730 Route 68 for a report of a trespasser on the property.  Police responded to the Manheim Security Office and spoke with Diabate Batiemoko, 44 years old of New York, NY.  It was determined that Batiemoko was not permitted on the property and he was taken into custody.  Batiemoko was then charged with trespassing and was later released pending a court appearance.
