On Friday, September 13th at approximately 7:45 PM, police were dispatched to Boyd’s Pharmacy in Homestead Plaza II on Columbus Road for a reported armed robbery. A black male armed with a knife entered the business and demanded employees give him prescription narcotics. The suspect was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and wore white sneakers. Another distinguishing characteristic was that the suspect had bandages on his face.
