On Wednesday, July 23rd at approximately 8:45 a.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Columbus Road in the area of Sheffield Drive. The vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, was being operated by a male subject who was later identified as Colin K. Kean, 29 years old of Moorestown. A subsequent consent search of the vehicle revealed that Kean was in possession of prohibited weapons, specifically a set of brass knuckles and switchblade knife. After placing Kean under arrest, police conducted a search of his person and discovered that he was in possession of a prescription legend drug for which he did not have a valid prescription. Kean was later transported to police headquarters and charged with possession of prohibited weapons, possession of a prescription legend drug and cited for the speeding violation. After the completion of his arrest processing, Kean was released from custody pending a court appearance.
