On March 12, 2013 at 5:41 p.m., police were dispatched to a home on Route 206 for a reported residential burglary. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown perpetrator made forced entry through the front door of the residence.
While processing the scene, police were able to locate small amounts of blood on the floor of the residence. Samples of this evidence was collected and later transported to the New Jersey State Police Central Regional Forensics Laboratory located in Hamilton, NJ for further examination. The blood sample was subsequently submitted to the CODIS (Combine DNA Index System) database, where a search was conducted. As a result of the search, a DNA match was made between the blood collected at the burglary scene and a sample from a convicted offender, John T. Fuller, Jr., 47 years old of Philadelphia, PA.
On September 19, 2013, charges were lodged against Fuller for burglary and criminal mischief; Fuller’s bail was set at $50,000. Fuller’s current whereabouts is unknown and he is wanted by the Mansfield Township Police Department for these charges. Anyone with information regarding Fuller’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Mansfield Township Police Department at (609)298-4411.
