Burglary Suspects Sought – 12/30/18

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, at approximately 1:15 a.m., two suspects forcibly entered a residence on Dickens Drive in the Mapleton development. While in the home, the suspects were confronted by the resident and then fled on foot in the direction of Greenbrook Drive. As a part of the investigation, we contacted the New Jersey State Police Forensic Artist Unit and two composite sketches were completed using the descriptions given by the victim. We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these subjects.

Black male, 18-20 years old, approximately 6’1″ tall, 150 pounds, slim build, last seen wearing all black.

Black male, 18-20 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, 150 pounds, stocky build, last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood, black track type pants.

Any residents in the Mapleton development who have surveillance cameras are asked to check their recordings for any unusual activity around the approximate time frame between 1:00 a.m.-1:35 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018. Anyone who is willing to share their video is urged to contact police and not post the footage on social media sites. Police have increased patrols in the area since the incident and ask the community to report any suspicious activity immediately.
