Two residential burglaries are being investigated by police. Both homes are located on Island Road near Mount Pleasant Road. The first incident was discovered in the late afternoon on June 13th when the residents realized items were missing. In that case, the suspect(s) made entry through an unlocked door. The second burglary involved forced entry to a residence some time between June 14th and June 16th.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the general area during the week of June 10th is asked to contact Mansfield Township Police Department at 609-298-4411.
Residents should report any suspicious activity. Do not hesitate calling police if you see something that seems out of the ordinary. It is better to let us check it out, instead of you discounting your observations prematurely.
