Forgery Arrest – 10/1/13

On Tuesday, October 1st, a forgery investigation conducted by the Mansfield Township Police Department was concluded with the arrest of Damon J. Hurley, 39 years old of Columbus. The investigation began in March 2013 when police responded to a local doctor’s office to investigate an alleged incident of forgery. The investigation revealed that Hurley forged documents that he submitted to the National Hot Rod Association in Glendora, CA. After a warrant was prepared by police and approved by a municipal court judge, Hurley was notified and turned himself in. Hurley was processed and posted $5,000 bail to secure his release pending court.
