On September 9th at approximately 9:00 a.m., this agency opened an investigation into allegations that a home health care aide abandoned a disabled adult that suffers from a rare undisclosed disorder which requires the individual to have constant supervision and assistance. It was reported that the suspect left the victim in the residence, unable to care for him/herself, while failing to properly notify his employer or the guardian of the victim that he was leaving the residence. Subsequent investigation led to the health care aide being identified as Solomon Abraham, 26 years old of the Browns Mills section of Pemberton Township. On 09/29/13, Abraham was taken into police custody and charged criminally with Abandonment of a Disabled Adult. After the completion of his arrest processing, Abraham was released from custody on his own recognizance pending a mandatory court appearance.
