
On Friday November 7th at 9:42 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Mansfield Road East for a disorderly person. At the residence, police were confronted with a teenaged male who began to spit and yell profanities towards officers. After several attempts by family and police to calm the juvenile, the male continued his aggression by threatening officers with bodily injury. The juvenile was eventually calmed and taken into custody. He was transported to police headquarters and charged with obstructing the administration of law.
On Sunday, November 9th at 1:07 a.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 130. The vehicle was being operated by David M. Delvecchio, 58 years old of Lambertville. On scene investigation revealed that Delvecchio had consumed some amount of alcoholic beverages prior to driving. After failing to complete the series of sobriety test, Delvecchio was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. Delvecchio was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving and Failing to Maintain Lane. After processing, Delvecchio was released to a third party, pending his court appearance.
On Sunday, November 9th at 7:28 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Gaunts Bridge Road for a dispute. On scene, James P. Clark, 45 years old of Columbus, provided police with false identifiers because there were active warrants for his arrest. Clark was taken into custody for a warrant issued by the Mansfield Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00, a warrant issued by the Long Beach Township Municipal Court and charged with hindering his own apprehension. After processing, Clark was able to post bail, at which time he was released pending his court appearance.
On Monday, November 10th at 2:24 p.m., police responded to a theft of property that occurred at the AT&T cell tower site located on Homestead Drive in the Homestead development. The theft involved the removal of copper bus bars from the site, which reportedly occurred during the previous several months. An additional report of the same type was reported to police on November 14th, but that one occurred at the AT&T cell tower located at 200 Arlington Road in the Mapleton development. The investigation into these incidents are ongoing.
On Thursday, November 13, 2014, at 0847 hours, police were dispatched to Manheim Auto Auction at 730 Route 68 for a report of suspected trespassers on the property. After requesting the individuals produce identification, police learned that one subject, Mamadou Binate, 60 years old of Bronx NY, was wanted on three outstanding warrants and was taken into custody. After processing, Binate was released pending his court appearances.
