Police Blotter – 4/7/14

On Thursday, April 3rd at 2:19 a.m. police stopped a vehicle after a random check indicated that the vehicle owner had a suspended driver’s license. During the motor vehicle stop, a warrant check revealed the driver, Brandon Stein, 21 years old of Lumberton, was wanted on two warrants.  Stein was taken into custody and turned over to the Bordentown City Police Department.

During an investigation on Thursday, April 3rd at 01:35 p.m., of a suspicious circumstance at the Imperial Inn Motel, police discovered that Rudy Kelvy, 50 years old of Bordentown, was wanted on two warrants.  Kelvy was taken into custody and later released pending new court appearances.

Police stopped a motor vehicle on Monday, April 7th at 12:32 a.m. on Route 206 for a moving violation. During the motor vehicle stop, the officer learned that a passenger, Nina Randol, 27 of Browns Mills, was wanted on a warrant.  Randol was taken into custody for processing and was later released after posting bail.

On Monday, April 7th, police responded to a reported residential burglary within the Township. The incident occurred between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at a residence in the Landview Development off of Route 68. The suspect(s) made entry through an open window. This incident remains under investigation.

On Monday, April 7th at 8:57 p.m. police stopped a vehicle after a random check indicated that the vehicle’s registration was expired. During the motor vehicle stop, a check returned that the driver Vincent Messina, 41 years old of Bordentown, was wanted on two warrants and that his driver’s license was suspended.  Messina was then taken into custody for processing and was later released pending new court dates.
