Police Blotter – 5/7/14

On Wednesday, April 30th at 11:26 a.m., police were dispatched to the Manheim Auto Auction for a report of a trespasser on the property.  When police arrived on scene they were advised by security personnel that Habiboullahi Diallo, 41 of Brooklyn, NY, was advised that Manheim was private property and he was denied access. A short time later security observed Diallo on the property and escorted him to the security office. Diallo was then taken into custody processed and later released pending a court appearance.

Police were dispatched to Gaunts Bridge Road on Thursday, May 1st at 2:13 p.m. for a report of a disorientated male.  After making contact with Kenneth Zeuggin Jr., 27 of Philadelphia, PA, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  A check returned that Zeuggin Jr. was wanted on a traffic warrant and he was taken into custody.  After processing Zeuggin Jr. was released pending a new court appearance.

On Monday, May 5th at approximately 8:00 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 near mile marker 53.  The vehicle, a 2012 Honda Civic, was being operated by Michael J. Gore, 30 years old of Bordentown.  Investigation revealed that Gore had consumed some amount of alcoholic beverages prior to driving. After failing to satisfactorily complete a series of field sobriety tests, Gore was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Speeding, and Reckless Driving. After the completion of his arrest processing, Gore was released to a third party pending court.

On Tuesday, May 6th at 8:16 p.m. police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 after a random registration check returned that the license plate on the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle.  A look up returned that the driver, Joseph Kurth, 54 of Bordentown, was wanted on a criminal warrant and was taken into custody.  Kurth was released after processing with a scheduled court appearance.  The passenger, Ivy Strickland, 47 of Bordentown, was also taken into custody for an active criminal warrant.  After being taken into custody a search of Strickland’s belongings revealed that she was in possession of CDS paraphernalia.  After processing Strickland was committed to Burlington County Jail pending a court appearance for criminal charges.

On May 7th at 10:45 a.m. officers at the Manheim Auto Auction on Route 68 witnessed a man steal a set of floor mats out of a Mercedes Benz sport utility vehicle. Police approached the suspect and recovered the stolen property from another vehicle where the mats were hidden. The suspect, identified as Salvatore Anselmo, 67 years old of Franklin Square, NY, was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing. Anselmo was charged with theft and later released pending court.
