
On Sunday, May 25th at approximately 10:32 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 68, near the intersection of Route 206. The vehicle, a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country, was being operated by its registered owner, Fermin A. Hernandez, 42 years old of Trenton. Investigation on scene revealed that Hernandez had consumed some amount of alcoholic beverages prior to driving. After failing to satisfactorily complete a series of field sobriety tests, Hernandez was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain a Lane. After the completion of his arrest processing, Hernandez was released without incident to a third party, pending his appearance in municipal court.
On Thursday, May 29th at 12:02 a.m. police stopped a vehicle after a random check indicated that the registered owner had an active warrant. During the motor vehicle stop, a check revealed that the driver, Aaron Jamaar Powell, 30 years old of Ewing, was wanted on an active warrant. Powell was taken into custody and later released after posting bail.
On Thursday, May 29th at 11:28 p.m., police made contact with James L. Riggins, 23 years old of Trenton, on Route 130. During the encounter, the officer determined that Riggins was wanted on two criminal warrants. Riggins was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing. Riggins was unable to post bail and was transported to Burlington County Jail.
During an investigation at the Manheim Auto Auction, on Wednesday, June 4th at 9:21 a.m., police discovered that Timothy Hui, Jr., 22 years old of Brooklyn, NY, had entered the property using a fraudulent identification card. Hui was then arrested for trespassing and was later released pending a court appearance.
On Wednesday, June 4th at 9:21 a.m., police observed Santillan Maygua, 47 years old of Astoria, NY, removing floor mats from a parked vehicle at Manheim Auto Auction. Maygua was seen placing the floor mats into a vehicle he was a passenger in. Investigation revealed that Maygua stole the floor mats and he was taken into custody for processing. Maygua was charged with the theft and released pending a court appearance.
On Saturday, June 7th at 11:16 p.m., police observed an occupied vehicle in the parking lot of the Pine Motel on Route 130. A random check of the registration revealed that the registered owner, Brandi Riggins, 24 years old of Lawrenceville, was wanted on two warrants. Investigation on scene revealed that the passenger, Alexis Ratliff, 28 years old of Trenton, was also wanted on five warrants. Both subjects were taken into custody for processing. Riggins was released pending new court appearances. Ratliff was later turned over to the Bordentown Twp. Police Department.
Police stopped a motor vehicle on Sunday, June 8th at 9:23 a.m. on Route 206 for a moving violation. During the motor vehicle stop a check returned that Karin Knight-Capes, 56 years old of Mansfield, was wanted on traffic warrants and that her driving privileges were suspended. Knight-Capes was taken into custody for processing and was later released after posting bail and receiving several motor vehicle summonses.
