Police Blotter 7/30/13

On Tuesday, July 30th at 7:20 p.m., officers were investigating a motor vehicle crash at State Highway 68 and County Route 545 when it was discovered that one of the involved drivers, Aimee R. Hardesty, 40 years old of Trenton, was wanted on a warrant issued by Westampton Township Municipal Court. Hardesty was brought to police headquarters to answer the warrant. She was processed and released pending court.

On Wednesday, July 31st at 10:20 a.m., police were at the Manheim auto auction on Route 68 when they made contact with Maria E. Correa, 50 years old of East Elmhurst, NY, after an individual she was with was found  joyriding in a car. It was eventually learned that Correa was not authorized to be within the auction’s premises. She was charged for defiant criminal trespass, escorted from the property, and released pending court.

On Friday, August 2nd at 9:51 a.m., police stopped a vehicle for speeding on West Main Street. Once stopped, the officer discovered the driver, Honorio Ortiz-Ramirez, 52 years old of Atlantic City, had a suspended driver’s license and was wanted on several warrants. Ortiz-Ramirez was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing. After posting bail, he was released from custody pending court.

At 12:06 p.m. on August 2nd, during a motor vehicle stop on Route 130, it was determined by police that a passenger of the vehicle, Aiesha Coleman, 30 years old of Trenton, was wanted by Lawrence Township. Coleman arrested and taken to the police station. She was unable to post bail and was turned over to Lawrenceville Township Police to answer the warrant.

On Saturday, August 3rd at 6:25 p.m., a vehicle was stopped for not having a valid inspection sticker. Once stopped, police discovered the driver, Jesse Trahim, 25 years old of Columbus, had two active traffic warrants for his arrest. Trahim was processed and released on his own recognizance with a new court date for each warrant.

Police stopped a vehicle on Route 130 on Sunday, August 4th at 1:53 p.m. after learning that the registration was suspended. Once stopped, the registered owner, Theodore DeCarlo, 26 years old of Florence, was found to have an active warrant from Eastampton Municipal court. DeCarlo was taken into custody on the warrant and transported to police headquarters for processing. He posted bail and was later released.
