This morning we were alerted of white nationalist propaganda posters that were displayed along West Main Street in Columbus. The items were apparently posted by a group in an effort to spread their message along the route of the Field Day parade that occurred Saturday. We recognize the concern this type of message causes the community and want residents to know we have removed the signs and are continuing to investigate the incident. Similar incidents have occurred throughout the state and we have been in communication with other law enforcement agencies as part of the investigation.
