This week played host to several vehicle burglaries in the Meadows at Mansfield development off of Mount Pleasant Road. In the early morning hours of Monday, August 31st, the suspects burglarized several vehicles along Waverly Drive. They entered one vehicle and used the garage door opener remote to gain access to the garage. Fortunately, the resident heard the door open and alerted police. The suspects fled on foot and a police K-9 unit was called in to aid with the search. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
